On 14Apr/23 at approximately 9am, St. Thomas Police officers located 51-year-old Chad Mcevoy and 30-year-old Jordan Pineda in the Edward and Burwell Road area. Both males were presently wanted on arrest warrants and were taken into custody. One male was released on the spot with a future court date and the other male was held in custody to appear in court in the morning.
On 14Apr/23 between 8:15am and 11am, unknown persons attended Parkside Collegiate High School and stole a locked bicycle from the bike rack at the rear of the school. The bicycle is described as a Reid mountain bike, black in colour with 24 gears, a water bottle holder and road tires. ST23006061
On 14Apr/23 at approximately 3pm, St. Thomas Police officers located 37-year-old Matt Irwin. This male was wanted on multiple St. Thomas Police arrest warrants and taken into custody. A search of this male lead to additional charges of possession of crystal methamphetamine, possessing a forged document and failing to comply with a release order. This male was held in custody to appear in court in the morning.
On 14Apr/23 at approximately 4pm, St. Thomas Police officers attended a residence regarding an assault. As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old St. Thomas male is wanted for assault and mischief. No injuries were sustained as a result of the assault. ST23006085
On 14Apr/23 at approximately 6:45pm, a male and a female entered the Fresh Co. store located at 1010 Talbot Street and stole candy bars and razors valued at $40. A store employee confronted the female and she fled the store with the stolen items. This incident is under investigation. ST23006102
On 15Apr/23 at approximately 3:45am, a concerned citizen called regarding a male sleeping in a stairwell of a south end apartment building. Upon arrival, police arrested 31-year-old Juan Currie on the strength of a St. Thomas Police arrest warrant. This male was released with a future court date.
