Vehicle Entry 

On Thursday April 13th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to investigate a vehicle entry that had occurred sometime overnight in a north side neighbourhood. Reported stolen were the vehicle’s ownership and insurance information. ST23005919

Warrants

On Thursday April 13th 2023, a 26 year old St. Thomas male attended Police Headquarters to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant with our service for 1 count Assault and 1 count Failure to Comply with Probation Order. He was taken into custody, processed and release by the courts. ST23005959

On Thursday April 13th 2023, St. Thomas Police were contacted by the London Police Service who had a 24 year old male in their custody on the strength of our warrant for 1 count of Assault that stems from an incident in 2019. STPS provided documents to process the warrant. The male was later released from LPS custody. ST23006030/ST19018942

Theft/Warrant

On Thursday April 13th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to investigate a theft from a local retail store. Through investigation, Police were able to identify and locate a 41 year old St. Thomas male, a short distance away. The male was arrested and charged with 1 count of Theft Under $5,000. Upon arrest, Police became aware of outstanding warrants with our service for:

  • 2 counts Failure to Comply with Release Order
  • 2 counts Possess of Break In Instruments
  • 2 counts Failure to Comply with Undertaking
  • 1 count Obstruct Peace Officer
  • 1 count Break and Enter
  • 1 count Property Obtained by Crime
  • 1 count Fraud under $5,000
  • 1 count Use Forged Documents
  • 1 count Improper Bicycle Lighting

The male was taken into custody and transported to Police Headquarters where he was processed and held for court.

Theft

On Thursday April 13th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to investigate the theft of a bicycle from a local restaurant. Upon arrival, it was learned that an employee at the restaurant had their bike stolen over the lunch hour. Police are reviewing the available video surveillance and continue to investigate. Mischief

On Thursday April 13th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to a Church on Elm Street after a new basketball net on the property had its glass shattered sometime overnight. Police spoke to Church staff and will continue to monitor the area. ST23005982
