Warrant Arrests
On August 3rd 2023, STPS Officers attended a downtown address for an investigation. Through dealing with the parties involved, it was learned that a 36 yr old female was wanted out of London on an outstanding warrant. She was subsequently arrested and brought to the STPS station where Officers with the London PS later attended and returned her to their headquarters. ST23013804
A 30 yr old female was arrested on an outstanding STPS warrant. She was transported back to the STPS station where she was released with a future court date. ST23013873
A 43 yr old male was also arrested on an outstanding STPS warrant for a previously investigated shoplifting incident. The male was transported to STPS station where he was processed and released with conditions and a future court date. ST23013702
Recovered stolen trailer
While on community patrol, STPS Officers located an abandoned trailer in a north end parking lot. Through investigation, it was determined that the trailer was in fact stolen out of the Chatham-Kent area. The owner was notified and later attended to retrieve his recovered property. ST23013810
Shoplift
On August 4th 2023, STPS Officers attended the 1063 Talbot Street area for reports of a shoplift incident which had just occurred at a business. Officers were able to locate the 28 yr old suspect a short distance away and placed him under arrest. He was subsequently charged with theft and released on conditions with a future court date ST23013867
Recovered stolen vehicle/plates
STPS Officers on community patrol located a vehicle involved in a previously reported gas drive off in the city. Through investigation, it was determined that the vehicle in question had been reported stolen out of London, and the plates on it were also stolen. The owners were notified and the property was returned. The matter is still under investigation. ST23013877
