A 34 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Monday, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for Assault and Failure to Comply with Release Order, stemming from an incident in February. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26010607
A 29 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Tuesday, the individual attended police headquarters to turn himself in on an outstanding DNA warrant. Once processed, he was released with a date to attend court. ST26010669
Bail Violations
A 19 year old St. Thomas man released on several conditions by the courts on Tuesday, was arrested Tuesday evening. Police were called to locate the male who had left his court ordered address and was violating his release conditions. The individual was located by officers downtown and taken into custody. Transported to police headquarters, he was processed to attend court and was subsequently remanded into custody. ST26010716
Theft Investigations
A white, Tail E-bike valued at almost $2,400 has been reported stolen from an address on Flora Street. On Tuesday, officers were called to the area to investigate the theft that occurred at some point in the overnight hours. CCTV in the area is available and has been provided to police. ST26010670
An accessible parking permit has been reported stolen from a vehicle while parked at a retail store on Talbot Street. ST26010702
Police are investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred at a shoe store on Talbot Street, Tuesday evening. It was reported an unknown male, wearing a ball cap and medical mask failed to pay for his items. CCTV has been provided to police. ST26010705
A 12-pack of coolers have been reported stolen from a retail store on Wellington Street. On Tuesday, police attended the store to investigate the report of three unknown individuals attending the store and stealing the alcohol. Video of the suspects has been provided to police. ST26010725
Assault Investigation
St. Thomas police are investigating the reported use of bear mace. On Tuesday, a resident attended police headquarters to report being followed by an unknown vehicle that had sprayed bear mace from the vehicle. This remains under investigation. ST26010727
Unwanted Person Leads to Charges
A 16 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged under the Liquor License Control Act after officers were called to an address on Meda Street for an unwanted person. Upon arrival, officers located the teen outside causing a disturbance. Showing visible sign of intoxication, the individual was arrested and transported to police headquarters until sober. ST26010737
