Assist Woodstock Police:
On Saturday the 30th of May we assisted Woodstock Police Service with an incident of impaired operation. Woodstock Police brought a driver to our service to perform a Drug Recognition Evaluation for impaired by drugs. The male driver performed poorly on the evaluation and Woodstock laid the appropriate charges. Incident ST26009933.
Fail to Comply with Probation:
On Saturday we were called to a residence regarding a male party that had entered the home uninvited and was currently on a probation order that included conditions not to attend the location. The 21-year-old male was arrested, charged with breach of probation, and held for court. Incident ST26009934.
Counterfeit Money:
On Saturday afternoon we were called to a downtown business for reports of a male party that had used a counterfeit $100 bill. We were later called to a second business as the male had attempted to use a bill there as well. The male suspect was described as similar incidents at two other businesses in town earlier in the week and is described as being white, stocky build, with a graying goatee. Video is being obtained from the locations and the matter is under investigation. Incident ST26009950/ST26009972.
Shoplift:
On Saturday afternoon we were called to an east end business for reports of three youths who had taken alcohol and left without paying. The youths were located a short distance away and the product was recovered. The store declined charges and the involved parties were trespassed from attending the store in the future. Impaired Driving:
Early Sunday morning officers on general patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was flagged for the registered owner being a suspended driver. The 48-year-old male was displaying signs of impairment by drug and performed poorly on a standard field sobriety test. The male was arrested for impaired operation and later performed poorly on a Drug Recognition Evaluation. The male was charged with impaired by drug, suspend drive and having two drivers license cards, later released with a future court date. Incident ST26010010.
