Thefts

A theft from a retail plaza on the east end of the city, was reported to St. Thomas Police Service. A male with a dog, attended the store, selected a tent, alcohol, coffee, and left without paying. Police located the male in the parking lot, and he was arrested and charged accordingly. The accused was trespassed from the store, and released with a future court date. ST26013968

A theft from a retail plaza on the east end of the city, was reported to St. Thomas Police Service. A male attended the store, selected 3 cases of alcohol, and left without paying. Police located the male nearby, and he was arrested and charged accordingly. The accused was trespassed from the store, and released with a future court date. ST26013971

St. Thomas Police were flagged down, regarding a theft that had just occurred from a retail store, on the east end of the city. A female had attended the store, selected $314 dollars’ worth of product, and left without paying. Police arrested the female, and discovered she was bound by a Probation Order with a condition not to attend that store, and has 18 other theft charges. The accused was charged with the theft, with Failing to Comply with a Probation Order, and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. The accused was released with a future court date. Loss Prevention contacted St. Thomas Police to report a theft that had just occurred, from a retail store on the east end of the city. Three males had attended the store wearing medical masks, selected items, and left the store without paying. All parties left in a vehicle, and a license plate was provided. The vehicle was located, and all parties identified. A 25-year-old driver of St. Thomas, a 17-year-old, a 19-year-old, and a 14-year-old. As a result of the investigation, the individuals were trespassed from the store, and two trespass to property tickets were issued. ST26014005

Vehicle Entries

St. Thomas Police are investigating multiple vehicle entries, from a residential area on the city’s south side. Sometime overnight, multiple vehicles were entered and rummaged through. At this time, nothing has been reported stolen. St. Thomas Police Service wishes to remind everyone to remove all valuables from inside their vehicles, and to be sure to lock the doors. Sexual Assault

St. Thomas Police are investigating a sexual assault, that took place before School ended. As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old St. Thomas Youth has been arrested. The accused attended the station to turn themselves in, after being notified of the investigation, and charges of Sexual Assault, and Uttering Threats to cause death or bodily harm. The youth was processed at Police Headquarters, and released with a future court date. ST26013991, ST26013829

Warrant Arrest

A 29-year-old St. Thomas resident attended the station to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant out of Wallaceburg. The individual was arrested and St. Thomas Police transferred custody to Chatham Kent Police Service without issue. ST26014008

R.I.D.E. Program

St. Thomas Police Officers conducted a Sobriety check point on the city’s west end. 13 vehicles were stopped and drivers checked for any impairment, with no infractions.
