Assault
St. Thomas Police were called to attend a residence in the east end of the city. The complainant reported being assaulted by a 16-year-old family member. The complainant believed the accused to be intoxicated in some way, and an argument began, that escalated into physical violence. The accused left prior to police arrival, and whereabouts is unknown. Vehicle Entries
Additional Vehicle entries have been reported on the south side of the city, and in the downtown area. Both complainants had left their vehicles unlocked and valuables inside. One complainant reports a passport stolen, and the other reported a wallet and headphones were taken. ST26014047, ST26014074
Counterfeit Money
A downtown business phoned police to report receiving a counterfeit $50 bill. The customer was unaware the bill was counterfeit. The complainant additionally stated that the customer frequents the business, and this has never happened before. The incident is still under investigation. ST26014072
Warrant Arrest in Robbery Investigation
In May of 2026, A 40-year-old St. Thomas resident was sleeping in the downtown area, when he was assaulted, and his phone and money stolen. Further investigation revealed the identity of the suspect. As a result, a 38-year-old St. Thomas resident was charged with Robbery, Fail to comply with Probation, and a warrant was granted. On July 23, the accused was arrested on the strength of that warrant, transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and held for a court appearance. ST26014089, ST26008800
STPS & Most Nurse respond to overdose in downtown
Members of the Community Response Unit, while on foot patrol, came across an unresponsive male. The Most team Nurse was immediately requested, and an Ambulance. Police attended the area as well, and in total, 5 doses of Narcan were administered. The 34-year-old St. Thomas resident was apprehended and taken to the hospital for additional care. ST26014053
