Break and Enter – Stolen Bicycle
Police are investigating after a bicycle was reported stolen from a garage on Hummingbird Lane. The red Specialized Allez road bicycle, valued at approximately $1,000, was taken sometime between 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday. The bicycle has several unique features, including an electronic speed and cadence device and an Ironman sticker on the seat. This remains under investigation. ST26013932
Theft
$82 worth of merchandise has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon when an unknown individual left the store without paying for their items. Video has been provided to police. ST26013879
Warrant Arrests
A 66 year old St. Thomas woman wanted by the St. Thomas Police Service has been arrested. On Tuesday morning, members of the Elgin County OPP located the woman and transferred her into the custody of STPS. She was wanted on an outstanding warrant for one count of Fail to Comply with Probation. ST26013886
A 34 year old St. Thomas woman wanted by the St. Thomas Police Service has been arrested. On Tuesday morning, the woman attended police headquarters and turned herself in on the strength of an outstanding warrant related to charges of Theft Under $5,000 and Fail to Comply with Probation. Once processed, she was released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26013887
Vehicle Entries
Police are investigating two vehicle entries reported on Tuesday. An unlocked vehicle on Second Avenue was entered sometime between 10 p.m. Monday and noon on Tuesday. The vehicle ownership was reported stolen. ST26013916
A vehicle parked at an address on Barnes Street was entered. The owner discovered several belongings out of place, but nothing appeared to have been stolen. ST26013922
