The Tails of Trax

In the midst of a lot of barks and whines, a K9 puppy named Trax, wearing a blue collar opens his eyes to a world of hunger, curiosity, and adventure. A quick look at the exciting new book recently written and published by Constable Sean James.

The book, affectionately titled “The Tails of Trax” is a unique story that captures the role of a K9 handler and their dogs. Trax’s story, in particular shares what it’s like for these amazing animals to grow, learn, and ultimately serve their communities.

Written by Constable Sean James and illustrated by Constable Helaine Hindley, The Tails of Trax leaves readers of all ages with a sense of courage, loyalty and perseverance.

The St. Thomas Police Service extends an invitation to our community to join Constable Sean James at the St. Thomas Public Library, this Saturday June 8th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for a public reading of the book and a special book signing.

The Tails of Trax will be added to the St. Thomas Public Library’s collection on Saturday.

Join the St. Thomas Police Service and members of the Phoenix Canine Initiative, Saturday June 8th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

All proceeds from the purchase of the book go directly to funding a therapy dog with the Phoenix Canine Initiative.
