Road Rage / Mischief
A vehicle sustained minor damage following a road‑rage incident. A male exited his vehicle and engaged in a verbal dispute with another male before striking the victim’s side mirror. Use of Stolen Credit Card
Overnight, a male lost his wallet containing several banking cards. A female located the wallet and subsequently used the cards to make approximately $500 in purchases. RIDE Program Leads to Arrest
Overnight, officers conducted another RIDE program, checking approximately 50 vehicles. One driver failed a roadside screening test and was arrested for Impaired Operation. During a search incident to arrest, officers located a quantity of illicit drugs. The male was transported to St. Thomas Police Headquarters, where he provided two breath samples registering 80 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood. He was charged with Impaired Operation, Impaired Operation – 80+, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Several Highway Traffic Act Offences The male was released on an Undertaking.
