On the 19th day of April 2024, a 49 year old St. Thomas man turned himself into police as there was ground for his arrest for unwanted communication and threats. The male was processed and released with conditions and a future court date. ST24006207.
St. Thomas Police Service received a complaint regarding a theft from a Talbot Street store. A female entered the store and left with several items while making no attempt to pay. A 38 year old St. Thomas woman is charged with theft and trespassing. She was released on a future court date as well as being issued an offence notice for trespassing. ST24006210.
A 32 year old London woman turned herself on an outstanding warrant. The female failed to attend court to answer to the charges and a warrant was issued. The female was processed and released on a future court date. ST24006211.
On the 19th day of April 2024, St. Thomas Police received a complaint of a break and enter to a Scott Street address. Over the last week entry was gained to the residence and several items taken. This matter is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact STPS and reference incident # ST24006218.
On the 19th day of April 2024 just after 1:30 PM an alert citizen contacted STPS regarding a suspected impaired driver. Officers located the vehicle and spoke to the driver. It was determined the driver had been consuming alcohol. A roadside test was conducted which the driver failed. The driver was transported to Police Headquarters where he provided two suitable samples of breath which resulted in the driver being twice the legal limit. St. Thomas Police are currently seeking an arrest warrant for a 34 year old St. Thomas woman after a theft from a 1063 Talbot store. The female entered and took items without making any attempt to pay. The female is known to police from previous thefts. ST24006256.
