On September 26, 2023 at approximately 12:40 p.m. police conducted a traffic stop to investigate offences under the Highway Traffic Act.
The male driver exited the vehicle and engaged officers. The male attempted to depart the scene and as a result was detained by officers. The male was ultimately taken into custody by officers.
As a result of the interaction with police the subject sustained a serious, but non-life threatening injury. The man was transported to hospital.
