Fraud
A local resident is out approximately $1,500 after having their wallet stolen. On Tuesday April 30th 2024, police were contacted by the victim who reported their wallet had been stolen while parked downtown. Several fraudulent transactions were made using the victims bank cards. This remains under investigation. ST24006840
Warrant arrest
A 16 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday April 30th 2024, the teen attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service, stemming from a fraud investigation in December 2023. The 16 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24006887
