Break and enter
Approximately $100,000 in wiring has been reported stolen. On Monday April 29th 2024, St. Thomas police were called to an address in the industrial area of the city to investigate the report of a break and enter that occurred to locked, outdoor compound. Through investigation officers learned that sometime over the weekend a fence on the property was cut and the wiring removed. Police are reviewing available video surveillance as they continue to investigate. ST24006780
Warrant arrest
A 31 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday April 29th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding probation warrant. The individual was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an appearance notice. ST24006792
Theft
A bicycle has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Monday April 29th 2024, police were called to the store by an employee who wish to report an unknown person had left the store with the bike. Officers are reviewing the available video surveillance as they continue to investigate. ST24006803
