Warrant Arrest 

A 22 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday June 11th 2024, STPS were notified by Chatham Police Service that they had the individual in custody on the strength of our warrant for Assault and Uttering Threats, stemming from an incident in 2022. Officers attended Chatham to take custody of the individual who was transported to the Elgin County Courthouse for a court appearance and was released by the courts. ST24009770

Break and Enter

A $500 Red Eco e-bike has been reported stolen from an address on Jessie Street. On Tuesday June 11th 2024, officers were called to the address to investigate the report of damage to a shed and the e-bike being stolen. This remains under investigation. ST24009816

Commercial Theft

St. Thomas police are currently investigating a theft that occurred from a retail store on Edward Street. On Tuesday June 11th 2024, STPS were called to investigate the report of a Red Kandi Trail King e500 Electric Mini Bike, being stolen. It was reported that a cable securing the bike had been cut and the mini bike removed. STPS is looking identify the individual in the photo below.
