Impaired Operation
A 26 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with Impaired Operation and Operating Motor Vehicle with Blood Alcohol Content over 80. At approximately 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday July 26th 2023, St. Thomas police responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Ron McNeil and Highbury Avenue. Upon arrival, the vehicles involved had moved off the roadway to a nearby parking area. Through investigation and while speaking with the drivers, police believed one of the drivers to be showing signs of impairment. As a result, a 26 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested and transported to police headquarters where testing confirmed impaired. The individual was processed and released on an appearance. Public Mischief
57 year old Linda Bentley has been arrested. On Wednesday July 26th, 2023 officers on community patrol located Bentley who was wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for Public Mischief. The warrant stems from incidents where police investigated Bentley for numerous calls, misusing 911 . Bentley was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released on an undertaking. ST23013276
