Arrested

A 20 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday July 27th 2023, the 20 year old attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for one count Theft under $5,000 stemming from an incident earlier this month. The resident was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST23013292

A 41 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday July 27th 2023, the 41 year old attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for 2 counts Impaired Operation and one count Drive with Cannabis Available, stemming from an incident in April 2023. The resident was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST23013301

A 34 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday July 27th 2023, the 34 year old attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on grounds for arrest for one count Assault stemming from an investigation of an incident between the accused and a party known to them. The 34 year old was processed and released on an undertaking. ST23013305

A 55 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Friday July 28th, 2023 officers on community patrol located the 55 year old known to them to have a curfew and to be in their residence from 11:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. The individual was made aware that they were breaching their conditions and was arrested, transported to police headquarters and held for court. Possession of Ammunition and Drugs 

A 40 year old London resident has been arrested. On Thursday July 27th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to an address on Mondamin Street to investigate the report of suspicious activity. Upon arrival, police located three individuals unloading materials from a van. Through investigation, it was learned one of the individuals was in possession of ammunition, a breach of their prohibition order. The 40 year old resident was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order. While being processed police seized a quantity of fentanyl. The individual was additionally charged with 1 count of Possession of an Opioid and 1 count Possession of Methamphetamine. The 40 year old was released on an appearance notice. ST23013293

Theft

Approximately $60 of groceries and personal items have been reported stolen. On Thursday July 27th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to an address on Princess Ave to investigate a theft that had occurred. Upon arrival, police learned that the victim had some of the contents of a personal shopping basket, taken. This remains under investigation. ST23013344
