Arrested
A 30 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday June 7th, 2023 officers on community patrol were dealing with the resident on an unrelated matter when they became aware of an outstanding warrant with our service for Theft under $5,000, Failure to Comply and Breach of Probation. The 30 year old was transported to police headquarters to be processed and was remanded. ST23009840
A 32 year old St. Thomas resident attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant. The individual was wanted by our service for Theft under $5,000. The 32 year old was processed and release on an undertaking. ST23009911
A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday June 8th, 2023 officers on community patrol were approached by a known party who asked to be taken to police headquarters to take care of an outstanding warrant. The 32 year old was wanted for Breach of Probation. Together, they attended police headquarters where the 32 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST23009917
Mischief
On Thursday June 8th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to the War Memorial Garden on Moore Street to investigate the report of vandalism. Upon arrival, police found yellow paint on one of the statues. The area is being cleaned up. ST23009913
Theft
On Thursday June 8th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to a retail store on Talbot Street to investigate a theft that had occurred. At approximately 12:00 p.m. store employees observed an unknown person conceal several items into bags while shopping. The person proceeded to check out and pay for some items but failed to pay for all items. Police are reviewing video surveillance and continue to investigate. ST23009919
Wanted
A 19 year old St. Thomas resident is wanted by police. At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Thursday June 8th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to a disturbance downtown. Upon arrival, police learned of an assault that had taken place between two parties known to each other. Minor injuries were reported. As a result, STPS have charged a 19 year old St. Thomas resident with one count of Assault. A warrant has been requested. ST23009949
