Two cell phones stolen 

Two cellphones have been reported stolen from a courier pick up location in the city. On Wednesday June 7th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to investigate after the owner the phones attended the pick up location to learn that the package had already been claimed. The total value of the phones is $2,400. Police are reviewing available video surveillance of the incident and continue to investigate. ST23009799

Two bikes stolen 

Two bikes have been reported stolen from a home on Elm Street. On Wednesday June 7th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to investigate the theft of two black Hyper mountain bikes valued at $218.00 each. Video of the incident is being reviewed. The suspects can be seen here:

Shoplifter arrested 

A 57 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. Just before noon on Wednesday June 7th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to a retail store on Talbot Street by a loss prevention officer who had a person in their custody for shoplifting. Upon arrival, and through investigation STPS determined that the 57 year old was to be charged with Theft under $5,000. All merchandise was returned to the store and the 57 year old was released on an appearance notice and trespassed from the location. ST23009849

Theft

A total of $450 has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street.  Around 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 7th, 2023 store employees report that an unknown individual entered the store, filled a grocery car and then left, making no attempt to pay. Police are reviewing video surveillance to identify the suspect. ST23009878

Theft from Train 

Various Milwaukee brand tools have been reported stolen from a CN Train. On Wednesday June 7th 2023, CN Police were contacted by an alert citizen who wish to report the incident. Subsequently, St. Thomas police were called to investigate. Video surveillance of the incident is available and being reviewed. This remains under investigation. ST23009880
