Shoplifters
Police are investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred on January 2nd at a business located in the 1000 block of Talbot St. A male and female party were captured on video concealing $188 worth of merchandise and leaving the store without making any attempts to pay. Video is being reviewed and police are working to identify the shoplifters. ST24000353.
Police responded to a second shoplifting call in the same area on Monday afternoon. A 27 year old St. Thomas man known to police stole a coat and fled the store. The male is charged with Theft Under $5000 and a warrant is being requested. ST24000367. This same male was captured on video stealing close to $300 of product at another business a short time later. Charges will not be laid in this second incident at the request of the business. ST24000373.
