Assault Peace Officer/ Warrant Arrest
On Friday morning police were at a location in the downtown core when they came across a 37-year-old female known to be wanted on an unendorsed bench warrant for failing to attend court. When officer informed the female of the grounds for her arrest, she became combative and kicked a police officer. The female was quickly controlled and taken into custody. The female was charged with Assault Peace Officer and transported to police headquarters where she was processed. The female was held for court on the new charge and the warrant and was later released by the court. ST24005782

On Friday afternoon a 46-year-old St Thomas female turned herself in on reasonable grounds for Fraud Under $5000. The female was processed in cells and later released on an Undertaking with conditions. ST24005799
Bail Violations
On Friday evening police were called to the downtown core for reports of a male in the street armed with a knife. Police attended the area and located a 29-year-old male, known to police, whom is bound by conditions not to possess any weapons. The male was arrested for breaching conditions of his probation and was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and later released with a future court date. ST24005817
Warrant Arrest
Early on Saturday morning members of the London Police Service advised that they had a 32-year-old male party in their custody in relation to new charges in London. The male was also wanted by the STPS on a bench warrant for Operation of a Conveyance while Prohibited x 2 and a Provincial Offences Act warrant for Driving while Under Suspension. Members of the STPS attended LPS to continue the arrest and transported the male back to STPS headquarters to be held for court. ST24005832
