Break and Enter:

On Friday the 3rd of March 2023 the St Thomas Police Service was contacted by a local builder to report break and enters to new residences under construction in the south end of the City. The complainant reported that three separate homes under construction were entered and the theft of job site tools totaling just under $7000.00.  The matter is currently under investigation. Warrant arrests:

On Friday officers responded to the reports of a male acting suspiciously in the south end of the City. A 44 year old St Thomas male was located as the subject of the complaint. It was discovered that the St Thomas Police Service held several warrants for his arrest. The male was arrested and held for court. He was later remanded into custody. Incident ST23003391

On Friday members of the Aylmer Police Service arrested a 45 year old male that was wanted by the St Thomas Police Service on a warrant. The male was turned over to the St Thomas Police Service and released with a future court date. Incident ST23003397.

On Friday Evening members of the Aylmer Police Service arrested a 49 year old male that was wanted by the St Thomas Police Service on a warrant. The male was turned over to the St Thomas Police Service and released with a future court date. Incident ST23003420.

Domestic Assault:

On Friday evening the St Thomas Police Service attended a residence within the city for the reports of a physical altercation between a female and a male. As a result of the investigation a local female is currently wanted for one count of domestic assault. Shoplifting:

On Friday evening the St Thomas Police Service attended a local business for reports of a female shoplifter who had left the store without paying for merchandise. On review of store security video the 47 year old female from St Thomas was identified by the responding officers and is currently wanted for theft under $5000.00.
