Assault:

In the early morning hours of Sunday the 5th of March Police were flagged down by staff outside of a local establishment regarding a disturbance between two female patrons. Through investigation it was learned that a female victim was assaulted by another patron previously known to her. A warrant application has been made for the arrest of a 22 year old local female. Break and Enters:

In the early morning hours the St Thomas Police Service was contacted by an alert resident who had heard smashing glass and observed a male fleeing the area. Police attended and found the entry door to a local business had been smashed but it appeared that the suspect(s) had not made entry and may have been frightened off by the woken resident. The matter is under investigation. While enroute to attend the previously reported break and enter Police observed a second business in the area had had the entry door smashed. While there were no witnesses video is to be provided by the business owner and the matter is under investigation. Warrant arrest:

While in the area investigating the aforementioned break and enters Police observed a 32 year old male known to them to have a warrant held by the St Thomas Police Service. The male was arrested, transported to the station, and later released with a future court date. Incident ST23003241.

Stolen Credit Card:

On Saturday the 4th of March 2023 Police were called to a local business regarding the attempted use of a stolen credit card. Police attended and were informed that a male and female attended the store together and attempted to purchase $500.00 worth of merchandise using a card that was flagged as stolen. The male and female suspects left the store leaving the card behind. Video has been provided and the matter is under investigation. Theft(s):

On Saturday the 4th of March 2023 Police received a report that a male suspect selected $300.00 worth of collectible cards from a local business and fled out the rear door. The male is described as being in his 20’s, wearing a black hooded Adidas coat, a ball cap and blue jeans. Video to be obtained and the matter is und investigation. On Saturday another local business contacted police to report that a male stole $137.00 worth of product before fleeing the area when confronted by Loss Prevention. The male is described is being approximately 6 feet tall, with an orange beard, wearing a green jacket, and having a black backpack and black “Carryone” bag. Video to be provided and the matter is under investigation. Dine and Dash:

On Saturday a male and two females attended a local licenced restaurant and ordered several beverages before leaving the business without paying. Video to be provided by the restaurant.
