MISSING PERSON LOCATED

**UPDATE**  Missing person Heather Heerema was located yesterday in London by her family.   ST23001189

BREAK & ENTER

Officers on Community Patrol attended an address on S. Edgeware Road after a citizen reported their unlocked shed in the backyard was entered sometime overnight of January 23rd.  Stolen were various tools including a Digital thermometer and Dewalt tools –  Drill, Hammer, infrared stud finder and an oscillating bone saw.  Value of tools stolen approximately $4,000.   ST23001303

DRIVING OFFENCES

Officers on Community Patrol were called to Eagle Street yesterday morning after an alert citizen reported a vehicle parked on the roadway for a few hours, the vehicle had extensive front end damage, was running and the female driver was asleep at the wheel.  Police were able to wake the driver up and she then drove off, southbound on St. Catherine St.  The driver was later identified  and a 30 year old St. Thomas woman is charged with Failing to comply with her release order x 6, Drive while under suspension x2 and numerous Highway Traffic Act offences.  A warrant is being sought.  ST23001342

ROBBERY

The Criminal Investigations Branch is investigating a Robbery that occurred in the early morning hours January 25th.  A citizen was walking eastbound on Talbot St. from the Tim Hortons at Manor Road.  at approximately 1:45am, when he was approached by 4 men.  He was chased eastbound and was assaulted and his boots and cell phone were stolen.  ST23001346.

THEFT

Officers on Community Patrol attended the plaza at 1063 Talbot Street for a report of a theft of a catalytic converter.  On January 25th while the complainant was in a store for a period of half an hour at approximately 1:30pm, someone cut out the part from the vehicle.  The complainant noticed an unusual sound from the vehicle and went to the mechanics and learned of the theft.  ST23001356.

A downtown merchant called Police yesterday to report a theft from their store.  Officers on Community Patrol attended in the afternoon and located the suspect.  A 41 year old St. Thomas male was arrested without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  He was charged with Theft under $5,000.  He was later released with a future court date.  ST23001364
