Ongoing Homicide Investigation – 21 year old, Keegan Harvey has been arrested

The St. Thomas Police Service, with assistance from the OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Unit and the London Police Service Emergency Response Unit, have arrested 21 year old, Keegan Harvey.

Harvey, wanted for Arson – Disregard for Human Life and Accessory After the Fact to Murder in relation to the arson and homicide investigation in the shooting death of Victoria Dill, was arrested at a London address on Wednesday July 31st 2024.

Harvey was transported to STPS headquarters where he was processed on the charges and held for a morning court appearance where he was remanded into custody.

Update #5 – St. Thomas, ONTuesday July 30th 2024 

Ongoing Homicide Investigation – 30 year old St. Thomas resident charged with Second Degree Murder 

The St. Thomas Police Service continue to investigate a homicide that occurred in the early morning hours of Wednesday July 3rd 2024.

At approximately 12:30 a.m. police were called to the area of Hiawatha Street and Curtis Street for reports of a house fire. First responders located the victim, 40 year old Victoria Dill, who had been fatally injured from a gunshot wound.

As the result of the investigation, 30 year old Nathan Deleemans of St. Thomas has been charged with one count of Second Degree Murder, one count Arson – disregard for human life and one count of Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

Deleemans has been arrested and remanded into custody.

The St. Thomas Police are seeking public assistance in locating 21 year old Keegan Harvey of St. Thomas who has been charged with one count of Arson – Disregard for Human Life and one count of Accessory After the Fact to Murder in relation to this active homicide investigation.

Harvey is described as Caucasian, 5’10, with brown hair and an arm sleeve tattoo on his right arm. Do not approach and call 9-1-1 immediately if seen or located.

Update #4 – St. Thomas, ON – Tuesday July 9th 2024

Ongoing Homicide Investigation Suspect Identified, Wanted

The St. Thomas Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 20 year old, Keegan Harvey, who is currently wanted for one count of Arson – Disregard for Human Life, and one count of Accessory After the Fact to Murder in relation to this active homicide investigation.

In the early morning hours of Wednesday July 3rd, 2024 police were called to the area of Hiawatha Street and Curtis Street for reports of a house fire.  First responders located the victim at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound, who was transported to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital and later succumbed to her injuries.

The victim in this incident has been identified as 40 year old, Victoria Dill of St. Thomas.

Keegan Harvey is described as Caucasian, 5’10, with brown hair and an arm sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

Do not approach and call 9-1-1 immediately if seen or located.

Homicide Investigation

The roadways surrounding Hiawatha and Curtis Street have been reopened by police. The investigation continues into the homicide and arson that occurred shortly after midnight on July 3rd, 2024. Further updates will be provided when available.

Update #2 – St. Thomas, ONWednesday July 3rd, 2024 

Homicide Investigation

At approximately 12:30 a.m., The St. Thomas Police Service and St. Thomas Fire responded to multiple 911 calls in regards to a fire in the area of Hiawatha and Curtis Street.

Upon arrival, a female was located suffering from life threatening injuries, unrelated to the fire. The individual was transported to hospital by EMS and has succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The fire is being treated as an arson and the death, a homicide. The investigation is in the early stages and remains active.

Police are advising that a road closure will remain in place in the areas of Talbot Street, Hiawatha Street to Scott Street, Curtis Street to Mary Street and the surrounding areas as police continue their investigation.

Death Investigation

The St. Thomas Police Service and the St. Thomas Fire Department remain on scene in the area of Hiawatha and Curtis Street.

There will be road closures from Talbot / Hiawatha to Scott /Hiawatha as well as Curtis / Mary to Curtis / Mondamin.

Please avoid the area as police are involved in a death investigation.
