Prohibited DriverĀ
A 44 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Wednesday morning, officers conducting traffic enforcement on Redan Street initiated a stop to speak with a driver. Identified as the 44 year old, officers were made aware of a current undertaking prohibiting the individual from occupying the driver’s seat of any motor vehicle. Charged with Failure to Comply with Undertaking the accused was transported to police headquarters to be processed. The vehicle was towed and held for 45 days. Once processed, the 44 year old appeared before the courts and was remanded into custody. ST26007645
Stolen Motorcycle – Recovered
A motorcycle reported stolen out of London in October 2025 has been recovered.
Last night, officers on community patrol located the motorcycle in a Talbot Street parking lot. Through investigation, it was determined the licence plate attached to the motorcycle did not match the vehicle. The motorcycle was removed by tow and London Police Service was notified.
CCTV footage is being reviewed and the investigation remains ongoing. The licence plate located were seized as police work to identify the registered owner of the plate. ST26007693/7695
Fraud Investigation
A St. Thomas resident reported losing approximately $6,000 after falling victim to a phone scam. On Wednesday, the victim contacted police to report they had received a call from an individual claiming to represent Rogers. The representative was calling to inform the victim their account had been compromised. Believing the call to be legitimate, credit card information was provided over the phone. Fraudulent transactions on the card were later identified.
The victim contacted their bank, cancelled the cards, and secured their accounts. ST26007680
Warrant Arrest
A 39 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Wednesday, officers were called to attend an address downtown for an unwanted person. Officers located the 39 year old known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 stemming from an incident on April 9th. She was transported to police headquarters, processed and held to attend court. ST26007673
