Warrant Arrests
A 28 year old St. Thomas man charged with Assault, Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference has been arrested. The accused was charged following an investigation that began in January. On Tuesday morning, officers located and arrested the individual. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26001858/0486
A 36 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. Early this morning, the Middlesex OPP contacted STPS to report that the individual was in their custody on the strength of our outstanding warrant. The accused had been charged with Criminal Harassment following a complaint of unwanted communication. Middlesex OPP exchanged custody with our service and the 36 year old was transported to St. Thomas police headquarters where he was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. A 40 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Tuesday night, officers were called to attend an address downtown for the report of an unwanted person, refusing to leave. Upon arrival, officers located the accused who was known to them to be wanted on an outstanding probation warrant after failing to attend their court ordered probation program. She was transported to police headquarters, processed and held to attend court. ST26001901/0618
Criminal Harassment
A 33 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. Charged with two counts of Failure to Comply with Undertaking and one count of Criminal Harassment stemming from an incident reported to police last week, the accused was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. Theft
Clothing has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Tuesday, officers were called the to store to investigate the report of an unknown individual failing to pay for several items of clothing. Video of the incident has been provided to police. ST26001863
