Warrant Arrests:
On Friday the 28th of November 2025 a 32-year-old male from the Toronto area attended the station to turn himself in on a warrant held by our service for fraud (ST24020524). The male was arrested and later released with a future court date. Incident ST25021696
An officer on general patrol observed a male known to be wanted on two warrants held by our service for breach of probation x2 and mischief over $5000.00 (RM25000817/ST25019720). The 30-year-old male was arrested and brought to the station where he was later released on conditions with a future court date. Incident ST25021711.
Officers from the Owen Sound Police Service advised they had arrested a 42-year-old female in their city that also had a bench warrant held by our service for impaired operation of a motor vehicle from 2020 (ST20001752). Owen Sound officers transported the female to our station where she was held for weekend video court. Incident ST25021725.
Break and Enter:
On Friday afternoon we attended a west end apartment building where the resident reported losing her house keys the day prior – and had returned home to find her apartment had been entered and approximately $2700.00 of property had been taken. Officers are obtaining video from the building management and the incident is under investigation. Incident ST25021697.
Theft:
On Friday evening we were contacted by an east end business who reported two male youths had entered the store and had stolen alcoholic beverages. One male wearing a green fuzzy jacket, black pants, and a backpack. Second male wearing beige jacket and black pants. Video is to be provided and the matter is under investigation. ST25021741.
On Friday evening we were contacted by a business owner from the downtown core who advised his wallet had been stolen out of his parked vehicle. Downtown CCTV was reviewed and a male can be observed entering the unlocked vehicle stealing the wallet. The victim’s bank cards were used at local businesses and video is being obtained to continue the investigation. On Thursday evening we received a call from an east end business that a female had entered the store and left without paying for merchandise. The female is described as wearing a purple ski mask, a reebok hoodie, and black tights – last seen leaving the area on an e-bike. Video is to be provided and the matter is under investigation. Intimate Partner Violence:
On Friday night a female resident attended the station and reported being in a physical altercation with her husband while at home earlier in the night. The male had allegedly thrown several household objects at the female, striking her with them. Grounds were formed to charge the male with assault with a weapon and a warrant is being sought for his arrest. Incident ST25021744.
