Media Release – August 31, 2025
Warrant Arrest – On the morning of August 30, 2025, members of the Community Response Unit located an 18 year old male who was wanted on reasonable grounds for Theft Under $5000, Failing to Comply with his release order and Breaching his Probation. The male was arrested and held for bail court where he was later remanded into custody. ST25015595
Warrant Arrest – On August 30, 2025, a 63 year old male attended the station to turn himself in as he was wanted on a 1st Instance Warrant for Theft Under $5000. The male was arrested, charged and released on an Appearance Notice with a future court date. ST25015600
Intimate Partner Violence – In the afternoon of August 30, 2025, the St Thomas Police attended to an address on the northwest side of the city regarding a male and female involved in a domestic disturbance. Officers attended the area and located a 46 year old male and a 40 year old female. Through investigation it was learned that both parties were on conditions to not contact each other. As a result the male was arrested and charged with Breach of Recognizance and held for court and released. The female was arrested and charged with Breach of her recognizance and later released on an Appearance Notice. ST25015615
Warrant Arrest – On the evening of August 30, 2025, a 48 year old female was arrested by the Ontario Provincial Police on an unendorsed bench warrant for Theft Under $5000. The female was transported to the station and held for Bail court. ST25015629
Warrant Arrest – On the evening of August 30, 2025, a 50 year old female was arrested by the London Police Service on an unendorsed bench warrant for Theft Under $5000. The female was transported to the station and held for Bail court. ST25015657
Disturbance/Threats – Late on the evening of August 30, 2025, the St Thomas Police attended to an address on the northwest side of the city regarding a disturbance. Through investigation it was learned that a resident had confronted a group of males outside his residence and that one of the males had threatened him. As a result an 18 year old male was charged with Uttering Threats and later released on an Undertaking with a future court date. ST25015660
Mischief – In the early hours of August 31, 2025, an intoxicated 18 year old male attended to the St Thomas Police Station and caused damage to the building. As a result the male was arrested and charged with Mischief Under $5000 x2 and later released on an Appearance Notice. ST25015663
Warrant Arrest – On August 31, 2025, a 29 year old male was arrested by the Ontario Provincial Police on an endorsed bench warrant for Mischief. The male was transported to the station and later released on an Appearance Notice. ST25015670
