Intimate Partner Violence
St. Thomas Police attended an area in the city’s south end for an assault. The complainant reported that an ex-partner had just pushed them off their bike. The victim suffered injuries from the fall, and required medical attention. As a result of the investigation, a 55-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested for assault. Residential Break and Enter
St. Thomas Police were called to a residence in the city’s south side for a break and enter. The homeowner, returned home to find the door open and personal belongings moved, and missing. The victim also reported there was mail belonging to someone else, that was left behind. A review of evidence, and witness statements revealed the mail left behind, was in the name of the suspect. As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old St. Thomas resident is charged, and wanted for break and enter. ST25007613
Theft
A 20-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested for theft, after St. Thomas Police were called to an east end business. Loss Prevention Officer provided a suspect description, and product description. The suspect was located and arrested nearby, with the stolen items. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters for processing and released with a future court date. ST25007624.
