Thefts

St. Thomas Police were called to a downtown business for a theft. A suspect was observed on video, selecting 4 packages of meat, and leaving the store, failing to pay. The incident is still under investigation. ST25007513

St. Thomas Police attended a residential building in the city’s north end for a theft of an amazon package. The package was delivered to the complainant’s door, but before they could grab the package, it was already gone. The incident is still under investigation. ST25007538

Warrant Arrests

A traffic complaint, and subsequent traffic stop, leads to the arrest of a 36-year-old Aylmer resident. The individual was wanted on an outstanding warrant with OPP. The individual was arrested without incident and transported to Police Headquarters to wait for OPP to attend. ST25007519

St. Thomas Police were advised of an OPP arrest. A 28-year-old Muncey-Deleware resident was wanted by STPS for theft of a motor vehicle and mischief. The incident took place in September of 2024. St. Thomas Police attended Middlesex OPP detachment to transport the individual back to Police Headquarters for processing, and later released with a future court date. ST25007524, ST24017080

St. Thomas Police, while on general patrol, located a 34-year-old St. Thomas resident that was currently wanted by STPS for theft under. The individual was arrested, transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and later released with a future court date. ST25007536, ST25002582

A 32-year-old St. Thomas resident attended the police station to sign in, according to his latest court order. A warrant was issued for the individual’s arrest after a bail compliance check was completed on the 5th of May, and found the individual to not be residing according to a court order. The individual was arrested, processed, and released with a future court date. ST25007548, ST25007448

St. Thomas Police were advised by LPS, they had a 40-year-old individual, wanted by STPS for theft, under arrest on the strength of a warrant, held by STPS. A future court date was provided and documents were sent to LPS, and the individual was released. ST25007552, ST23020386.

Mischief

St. Thomas Police attended a residence in the city’s south end for a mischief incident. The complainant reported that the vehicle parked in the driveway, had overnight been entered, and there was damage to the door. The incident is still under investigation. ST25007533

R.I.D.E

St. Thomas Police conducted a R.I.D.E spot check, to check for driver sobriety in the city’s north end. Approximately 15 vehicles were stopped, and there were no infractions.
