Fail to comply
On March 7th, an employee at a local grocery store called to report an unwanted female inside. Upon Police arrival, the female had left however was identified as being on conditions not to attend the address. As such, a warrant is being sought for the female for 1 count of failing to comply with Undertaking. ST25003777
Theft/Unlawfully in a dwelling/FTC
On March 8th, Police attended a south end apartment complex for reports of a theft. Police learned that a female resident had invited a friend over. After leaving her friend in the apartment alone for a period of time, she returned to find her friend and ex-partner leaving the unit with some of her property. Following the investigation, a 37 year old male is now wanted for theft and being unlawfully in a dwelling. A 30 year old female is also wanted, for theft and breach of recognizance. ST25003806
Warrant arrests
STPS Officers located a 36 year old female wanted on an outstanding bench warrant. The female was arrested and transported to the STPS station where she was held for WASH (Weekend and Statutory Holiday) court. She was later released by the courts. ST25003811
Some time later, a 23 year old was arrested on the strength of another outstanding STPS warrant. The individual was then released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25003833
Break & Enter
On March 8th, the owner of a vacant commercial building in the north end called to report that sometime in the previous 6 weeks, property being stored inside had gone missing. It appeared as though the locks to the compound had been cut, allowing entry to be made. The matter remains under investigation as Police continue to follow up & check for video. ST25003814
Vehicle entry/theft
Officers are canvassing for video in relation to a daytime vehicle entry on the north side of the city. Unknown person(s) entered the victim’s vehicle while it was parked on the street and took a number of items. The investigation continues. ST25003820
Theft
Police are checking for video after reports of a theft involving bicycle accessories. The complainant in the matter called Police to report that after parking their bike outside a public address, they returned to find that a number of parts and accessories had been taken by an unknown person(s). Officers continue to investigate. ST25003832
Mischief
STPS Officers were called to a south end address for reports of a group of youth throwing rocks at an unoccupied vehicle. The youth were gone prior to Police arrival however Officers determined that the group had caused damage to the vehicle in question, including the front and rear windows. Police are checking video in the area in an attempt to identify the suspects involved.
