Theft
St. Thomas Police are investigating a Theft from a vehicle, in the city’s north end. The complainant reports leaving a purse inside the vehicle, while parked in the laneway overnight. Security video is being reviewed. The incident is still under investigation. ST25000936.
St. Thomas Police are were flagged down regarding a theft that had just occurred. An employee from a downtown business was able to provide the current location of the suspect. A 39-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested after a short foot pursuit. A query of the suspect also indicated outstanding warrants for additional thefts. False Fire Alarm
St. Thomas Fire Department, while doing a routine building inspection, came across a propane tank inside one of the social housing units. Seizure of the tank for public safety, prompted a 40-year-old St. Thomas resident to become so irate they pulled the fire alarm on the way out of the building. Subsequently the individual was arrested and charged accordingly. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and released with a future court date. ST25000951.
Warrant Arrest
A 42-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested at Police Headquarters, after attending for fingerprints. Query of the individual after their arrival, indicated an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. The individual was processed and released with a future court date. ST25000961.
