Warrant Arrests 

A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday September 25th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for several drug related offences stemming from an incident in May. The 42 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST24017277

A 30 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday September 25th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on 11 outstanding warrants and 49 charges in total, stemming from incidents dating back to December 2023. The individual was processed and remanded into custody. ST24017278

A 16 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday September 25th 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service in relation to an incident in May, where they had been charged with one count of Break and Enter. The individual was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24017328

A 34 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday September 25th 2024, police were called to a retail store on Wellington Street to investigate the report of an unknown individual that had left the store, failing to pay for their items. Officers attended the area and located an individual matching the description provided. Through investigation, police learned the 34 year old was wanted by our service for Theft under $5,000 and Failure to Comply with Probation. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24017333

Break and Enter

Several copper parts have been reported stolen. On Wednesday September 25th 2024, officers were called to an address on Edward Street to investigate the report on an unknown person(s) cutting holes in the fence surrounding a storage area of the business and gaining access to the copper parts. This remains under investigation. ST24017285

Theft

St. Thomas police are currently investigate a theft. On Wednesday September 25th 2024, STPS were called in regards to a debit card that had been stolen, being used at a location in the city. Through investigation, police were provided images of the accused. St. Thomas police are currently investigation at theft occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. this morning. STPS were called to an address on Highbury Avenue to investigate the report of two unknown individuals attending the retail store and stealing a case of beer. Police are reviewing available video surveillance as they continue to investigate. ST24017346
