Warrant Arrests

A 40 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday May 22nd 2024, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with Oxford OPP. The individual was arrested and custody transferred to OPP. ST24008344

A 25 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday May 22nd 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Theft under $5,000 – Vehicle and Dangerous Operation stemming from an incident in December 2023. The individual was transported police headquarters where they were processed to attend court and subsequently remanded into custody. ST24008350

A 35 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday May 22nd 2024, St. Thomas police were called to a business on Talbot Street to address an unwanted individual. Upon arrival, officers located a 35 year old St. Thomas resident known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with London Police. The individual was arrested on the strength of the LPS warrant, transported to police headquarters and released on an appearance notice. ST24008354

Failure to Comply 

A 71 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged. On Wednesday May 22nd 2024, STPS were notified that the individual had failed to comply with their release conditions stemming from an incident earlier this month. A warrant for arrest has been issued. ST24008353

A 36 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday May 23rd 2024, officers were called to an address on the northside of the city for a disturbance. Upon arrival, police learned of a verbal argument between two individuals know to be on conditions to not communicate with each other. As a result, a 36 year old St. Thomas resident was charged with one count failure to comply and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. Prohibited Driver

A 68 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged. As the result of a traffic stop on Wednesday May 22nd 2024, the individual has been charged with Drive while under Suspension and Operation while Prohibited. The driver was released on an appearance notice. ST24008346

Fraud  

A St. Thomas resident is out approximately $1,800. On Wednesday May 22nd 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to report the incident that occurred after an online transaction. It was reported that their bank account had been fraudulently accessed after attempting to accept what looked like a legitimate electronic funds transfer after they had sold an item online. This remains under investigation. ST24008387

Intimate Partner Violence 

A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged after St. Thomas Police were called to an area in the city’s south end, last night. Police were responding to a 911 call of a family disturbance in progress. Officers remained in the area for several hours which led to the individual being taken into police custody. As a result, the 32 year old has been charged with one count of Assault and one count of Mischief. ST24008386
