Warrant Arrests
On Friday morning a 45 year old St. Thomas resident turned himself in at police headquarters. The male was wanted on a first instance warrant for two counts of failing to comply with his non-communication condition on a previous release. The male was brought before a justice and remanded into custody. ST24002455.
On Friday evening police located a 38 year old St. Thomas man that police knew to be wanted on a probation warrant. The male was arrested without incident and released with a future court date. ST24002485.
Shoplifting
On Friday evening staff from a business located in the 1000 block of Talbot St called police to report a shoplifting incident in progress. Police located a 38 year old male matching the suspect description a short distance away and he was taken into custody. On his person police recovered stolen merchandise from the business. The male was charged with Theft Under $5000 and was released from the scene with a future court date. ST24002481
