Media Release Friday September 15th 2023

Stolen Vehicle 

A 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, bearing Ontario license plate CKTD 264 has been reported stolen. On Friday September 15th 2023, while on an unrelated call for service, police were made aware of the theft by the owner of the vehicle. Police are currently attempting to locate the vehicle and the person responsible for the theft. A stock photo of the vehicle can be seen below. ST23016426

Warrant Arrest 

A 43 year old Southwold resident has been arrested. On Thursday September 14th 2023, STPS were contacted by Elgin OPP who had the 43 year old in there custody when they became aware of an outstanding warrant with our service for an Operation while Impaired charge dating back to September 2022. St. Thomas police attended and custody was assumed by our service. The Southwold resident was transported to police headquarters to be processed and was held for a court. ST23016392

A 43 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday September 14th 2023, the St. Thomas resident attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000. The 43 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future a court date. ST23016414

Theft

A 3-D white tailed deer archery target has been reported stolen. On Thursday September 14th 2023, St. Thomas police were called by the owner of the target who reported that sometime over the last week the target had been taken from the backyard of a home on Ross Street.
