Warrant Arrests

A 35-year-old St. Thomas resident turned themselves in on an outstanding warrant for sexual assault, an investigation that began in 2023. The individual was arrested, processed at Police Headquarters, and released with a future court date. ST23020690, ST26006191, ST260065960

A 33-year-old St. Thomas resident was located and arrested on an outstanding warrant for multiple driving offences. The incident took place in February of this year. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and then transported to the Elgin County Courthouse for a court appearance. ST26006561, ST26003195

A 38-year-old St. Thomas resident attended the Police Station to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for Assault Causing Bodily Harm, and for Failing to Comply with a Probation Order. The individual was arrested, processed, and later released with a future court date. ST26005484, ST26006566

A 32-year-old St. Thomas resident was located and arrested on an outstanding warrant for Spousal Assault, and Forcible Confinement. An incident that took place in January of this year. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and held for a court appearance. ST26001554, ST26006568

A 56-year-old Aylmer resident attended the Aylmer Police Station to turn themselves in on an outstanding STPS warrant for Break and Enter, and Mischief to property. The incident took place in December of 2025. The individual was arrested, processed and released with a future court date. ST25023397, ST26006594

Break and Enter

St. Thomas Police were called to a north end business for a break and enter. A staff member reported finding damage to a perimeter fence and damage to a lock, that occurred sometime between April 13th and 15th. The incident is still under investigation. ST26006572

Impaired

A 55-year-old St. Thomas resident was located behind the wheel of a running motor vehicle unconscious. Officers were unable wake the driver and medical attention was required. As a result of the investigation, the individual once medically cleared, is facing charges of Operation While Impaired. ST26006602

Intimate Partner Violence

St. Thomas Police were called to a residential area in the city’s south end for a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed, an individual that was on conditions to not be there, from a previous domestic incident was inside. As a result, a 36-year-old from Muncey Ontario is charged and wanted for 2 counts of failing to comply with undertaking. ST26006616

Theft/Fail to Comply/Warrant Arrest

St. Thomas Police were called to an east end retail complex for a theft. Prior to police arrival, the involved individuals left in a vehicle. The license plate was provided to Police, and the vehicle was located a short distance away. All parties in the vehicle were known to police, and the individual involved in the theft was quickly identified. A 35-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested and charged with Theft, and Failing to Comply with Undertaking. The individual was additionally wanted for unrelated incidents and charged with the same offences only days earlier, and in November of 2025. Assault with a Weapon

St. Thomas Police were called to an east end business regarding an assault. Upon arrival the victim was located suffering from injuries sustained in the altercation between two males. EMS were contacted and transported the victim to hospital. Police located and arrested a 24-year-old St. Thomas resident for Assault, and Assault with a Weapon. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters and held for a court appearance. ST26006620

Assault in Home Invasion

Just before midnight on Wednesday, April 16th, 2026 St. Thomas Police respond to a 911 call for a Home Invasion on the city’s south side. The victim reports waking to a suspect standing over them with a baseball bat over their head. During an altercation, the victim sustained minor injuries and EMS were contacted. The victim reported there were 4 suspects. The incident is still under investigation. ST26006624
