Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Return to St. Thomas for Charity Hockey Game Benefiting CMHA Thames Valley Addiction & Mental Health Services
The puck is set to drop once again as the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni players lace up their skates for a thrilling charity hockey game presented by Stay True Tattoo on April 20, 2024 at the Joe Thornton Community Centre. The much-anticipated return of this event will see beloved hockey icons like Wendel Clark and Al Iafrate facing off against members of the St. Thomas Police Service, all in support of mental health and addiction initiatives in St. Thomas and Elgin County.
Attendees can anticipate an electrifying atmosphere as they witness hockey legends showcase their skills on the ice. VIP ticket holders will have the exclusive opportunity to engage in a private meet and greet with the players before the game, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening.
“We are thrilled to bring this incredible event back to St. Thomas in support of mental health and addiction care,” said Wendy Sanderson, Director of Fund Development and Communications at CMHA Thames Valley. “Events like these play an essential role in raising awareness and funds for programs and services in our community”.
Leafs Alumni roster to date will include: head coach Dave Hutchison, goalie Adam Munro, Wendel Clark (Captain), Rick Vaive (Captain), Gary Leeman (Assistant Captain), Dave Mcllwain, Al Iafrate, Todd Gill (Assistant Captain), and Ric Jackman.
Tickets for this unforgettable event will be available for purchase online via EventBrite starting Monday March 4, 2024. Physical tickets can also be purchased at a fundraiser taking place at Stay True Tattoo on March 10, 2024. All proceeds from ticket sales and auctions will directly benefit vital mental health and addiction initiatives in St. Thomas and Elgin County provided by CMHA Thames Valley Addiction & Mental Health Services.
