We arrested a 25-year-old St. Thomas resident for assault causing bodily harm-choking, and two counts of assault. This arrest stemmed from an incident that took place back in 2024. The accused was later released with conditions and a future court date. No serious injuries were sustained as a result of the assault. Ref # ST25007973
We arrested and charged a 23-year-old St. Thomas resident with criminal harassment and possession of unmarked cigarettes. This individual was held for court and later released by the court with conditions and a future court date. Ref# ST25007984
We conducted a R.I.D.E.(Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) spot check overnight, checking for driver sobriety as well as seat-belt compliance. Two seat-belt warnings were issued, six tickets issued and no drivers showed any signs of impairment by drugs or alcohol. Ref# ST25007980
We attended a retail store located in the 1063 Talbot Street business park regarding an individual being aggressive with the employees. Through investigation, we determined that the 32-year-old St. Thomas resident was presently on release conditions to abstain from attending the store they were in. Therefore we arrested and charged this individual with failing to comply with a court release order and failing to comply with a condition of a probation order. - Always get a second opinion from family or friends regarding the situation
- No employer will reach out to you through apps like Whats App or Telegram
- No employer will ever pay you in crypto currency
- No employer will ask you to invest your own money
- Do not send money via Bit Coin or crypto currency
- Use the Canadian Anti- Fraud Centre as a resource to familiarize yourself with current scams and additional ways to protect yourself
