A 44-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested and charged for smashing a window out of a work vehicle at a Talbot Street business. This female was later released by police with a future court date. Ref#ST23010501.

The St. Thomas Police are investigating multiple incidents where homeowners are being scammed out of money by a male promising to complete renovations. An adult male attended addresses within the city offering to complete renovations. Homeowners are providing a deposit to the male who indicates he will re-attend to commence the renovations, but does not re-attend. The suspect is described as a white male and is operating a red pick up truck with a ladder and other items in the bed of the truck. Ref#ST23010506.

The St. Thomas Police are investigating a theft where a suspect entered an unlocked vehicle parked at the rear of a Talbot Street business and stole a laptop computer. The victim checked the area and found the laptop bag but was unable to locate the laptop. The computer is an HP with a small crack on the outside edge worth approximately $650. Ref#ST23010529.

Three tires were slashed on a black sport utility vehicle parked on Holland Street. The vehicle owner reported to police that sometime overnight in her apartment parking lot, three of her vehicle tires were damaged, lost air and had to be replaced. Damage is estimated at $600. Ref#ST23010573.

A PlayStation 5 was stolen from a business in the 1063 Talbot Street business park. A suspect entered the business and asked to see a PS5 gaming console, when the employee became distracted, the suspect fled the store with the gaming console. The male suspect is described as a white male wearing a green hoodie, facial scruff with brown hair and poor teeth. Ref#ST23010575.

A 30-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested and charged in connection with a break and enter which had occurred on May 11th. Suspects stole business documents from a St. Thomas residence and were able to fraudulently deposit money into their own account. Through investigation, St. Thomas Police officers were able to later identify the suspect and make the arrest. This person is charged with three counts of fraud, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, and three counts of using a forged document. This accused person was later released with a future court date and conditions to abide by. Ref#ST23009458.
