Starting the year on a positive note, officers conducted a New Year’s Day RIDE spot check for impaired driving. We are pleased to report there were no infractions.
Warrant Arrests
A 34 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after police were called to a disturbance in a south end residence. The individual was found to be wanted for failing to attend a previously scheduled court date. He was arrested and transported to St. Thomas police headquarters where he was held for a court appearance. ST2600023
A 37 year old man has been arrested. On Thursday, officers located the man who was found to have an outstanding immigration warrant issued by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). He was transported to St. Thomas police headquarters, where he was transferred into CBSA custody. ST26000028
A 40 year old man has been arrested. On Thursday, officers were on an unrelated call for service and located the man who was found to be wanted by Halton Regional Police Service. He was arrested and custody was transferred to Halton Regional Police Service. ST26000044
A 30 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after he failed to attend a previously scheduled court date. Officers on community patrol located the man and arrested him on the outstanding warrant. He was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST26000050
