IPV Mischief/Forcible confinement
We were called to a south end address for reports of a dispute between two parties. Upon arrival, we learned that the dispute between the two, who had previously been in a relationship, led to one damaging the others’ phone and not allowing them to leave the residence. A 35 yr old was subsequently arrested and charged with 1 count of domestic mischief and 1 count of forcible confinement. The individual was held for a morning court appearance. ST25023319
Impaired
Yesterday evening, officers assigned to Project HomeSafe located a vehicle who reportedly had an unconscious male behind the wheel in a live lane of traffic on Talbot Street. After demobilizing the vehicle and waking the driver, officers formed reasonable grounds that the individual was impaired and therefore they were arrested. Of further concern, officers located 3 young children in the vehicle at the time. The arrested individual was transported back to the Police station for further DRE testing which confirmed they were impaired by drugs. The 33 yr old was subsequently charged with impaired operation (drug), possession of a controlled substance and drive with no licence. They were processed & released with a future court date. Arrangements were made for the safety & wellbeing of the children. ST25023332

Mischief/Warrant
While at a store in the 1063 block of Talbot dealing with an unrelated matter, officers were directed by staff to a female causing a disturbance inside. When the female was asked to leave by Police, she proceeded to damage a store sign at which point she was arrested for mischief. Officers then learned the same female was wanted for a previously reported theft from back in November. The 31 yr old was arrested for both incidents and transported back to the station where she was processed and released with a future court date. ST25023342
