STPS Media release for Saturday June 10th 2023

Arrests

On June 9th 2023, Aylmer Police arrested a 40 yr old male on an outstanding STPS warrant. The male was transported to STPS station for court and later released. ST23009971

Also on June 9th 2023, following an investigation from a previously reported shoplift at a local grocery store, STPS Officers positively identified a 38 yr old female suspect involved. The female was arrested and charged with 1 count of theft under $5000. She was released with a future court date. ST23009973.

Assault

On June 9th 2023, STPS Officers attended an address in the north end of the city for a neighbour dispute which had turned physical. As a result of Officers’ investigation, a 19 yr old male was arrested and charged with 1 count of assault. The male was later released on conditions with a court date. ST23010021

Bicycle Theft

Later on at night on June 9th 2023, a St. Thomas resident contacted Police to report that their bicycle had been stolen. The bicycle is described as a teal green cruiser style Kulana Hiku7. The matter is currently investigation as Officers checked for CCTV footage in the area.
