STPS Identify and Arrest Armed Robbery Suspect

Update – St. Thomas, ON – Wednesday December 17th 2025

The St. Thomas Police Service has identified and arrested a St. Thomas man following an armed robbery at a convenience store on Talbot Street in the early morning hours of December 15th, 2025.

Through investigation officers were able to identify and arrest the suspect.

As a result, 29 year old Adam MacMillan of St. Thomas has been charged with the following offences:

  • Robbery with a Weapon
  • Disguise with Intent
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 6
  • Failure to Comply with Release Order
  • Failure to Comply with Undertaking

MacMillan was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and held for a morning court appearance.

The accused was bound by multiple Probation Orders, a Release Order, and an Undertaking at the time of the incident and his arrest.

The St. Thomas Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect following an armed robbery at a convenience store on Talbot Street, early this morning.

Just before 2:15 a.m., officers were called to the address to investigate the report of a robbery in progress. It was reported that a lone male suspect entered the store wearing a black hoodie and a red bandana covering his face. The suspect attempted to assault the employee before fleeing the store on foot.

There were no physical injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, wearing a black coat and black toque. Red mittens.

  • He used a red bandana to cover his face

Investigators have obtained surveillance images and are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information related to this incident to contact the St. Thomas Police Service at 519-631-1224.
