St. Thomas Police Service media release for Sunday September 24th, 2023

St. Thomas Police Service is currently investigating a theft of a Red Tricycle with 624 written on the frame which was stolen from a Talbot Street address.  Anyone with information contact STPS and reference incident # ST23016973.

On the 23rd day of September 2023 just after 8 PM St. Thomas Police received a complaint of an erratic driver coming into St. Thomas from Port Stanley.  The driver was stopped where she arrest after failing the Approved Screen Device.  The 39 year old London woman was transported to Police Headquarters where she refused to conduct a breath sample.  The female was charged with refusal and released on a future court date.  ST23016976.

On the 23rd day of September 2023 St. Thomas Police were notified of a vehicle that failed to pay for gas at a local business.  The vehicle was later located within the city.  Officers attempted to speak with the driver who fled at a high rate of speed.  This matter is under investigation.  ST23016980.

St. Thomas Police Service received a call to a Talbot Street variety store regarding an assault.  Investigation revealed a patron had entered the store and assaulted the clerk.  The male was identified and a warrant is being sought for his arrest.  ST23016988.

On the 24th day of September 2023 just before 4 AM police received a complaint from a local restaurant regarding an impaired driver.  Police located a 32 year old St. Thomas woman operating a motorhome while impaired by alcohol.  The driver was transported to Police Headquarters where she registered twice the legal limit of alcohol.  The female was held for a court appearance.  ST23016993.
