St. Thomas Police Service media release for Sunday April 2nd, 2023

On the 1st day of April 2023 police attended a south end residence for a wellbeing check.  While on scene police located a 32 year old male hiding in one of the bedrooms.  The male was known to officers and it was determined he was wanted on 2 arrest warrants.  The male was taken into custody and later remanded into custody until his next court appearance.  ST23005121.

On the 1st day of April 2023 the London Police Service contacted us and advised they had a 32 year old St. Thomas male in custody on our warrant.  An officer attended the City of London and released the male on a future court date.  ST23005129.

On the 1st day of April 2023 St. Thomas Police took a complaint of a mischief at the Joe Thornton Community Centre.  A window was smashed out of a truck while in the parking lot.  This matter is under investigation, anyone with information is asked to contact STPS.  ST23005161.

On the same day St. Thomas Police attended a 1063 Talbot Street store for a shoplifter.  Police investigation revealed that a male entered the store and stole a quantity of Pokemon cards.  The matter is still under investigation.  ST23005168

On the 2nd of April 2023 just after 2 AM and alert citizen located a 28 year old female stealing from their vehicle.  The citizen held the female until police arrived.  The female was taken into custody and released on a future court date.  ST23005195.
