On the 1st day of March 2024 St. Thomas Police Service was notified by the Aurora OPP that they had a 30 year old Aurora man in custody on the strength of our warrant. Officers went to Aurora and returned the male to St. Thomas where he was processed and released on a future court date. ST24003275.
On the 1st day of March 2024 officers attended an Edward Street store for a report of two shoplifters inside the store. Police spoke with a female and a male who were in possession of the stolen property. It was later learned the male gave a false name to officers while conducting their investigations. A warrant is being sought for a 29 year old St. Thomas man for obstructing a police investigation. ST24003283.
On the 2nd day of March 2024 St. Thomas Police received a report of a possible impaired driver leaving a local establishment. Officers located the vehicle and determined the driver a 49 year old St. Thomas woman’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The female was processed and released on a future court date. ST24003334.
