St. Thomas Police Service media release for Saturday January 28th, 2023

The St. Thomas Police Service identified two St. Thomas males who broke into an Edward Street business on the 24th day of January 2023.  The business had the fence compound cut and property removed.  The property was recovered by police and returned to the store.  At this time charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.  ST23001447.

On the 27th day of January 2023 St. Thomas Police were contacted by Norfolk County OPP as they had a 19 year old Tillsonburg man in custody on the strength of our warrant.  We attended Norfolk County and brought the male back to St. Thomas where he was processed and released on a future court date.  ST23001452.

Later that day a 37 year old St. Thomas man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.  The male was located on Princess Avenue and transported to Police Headquarters where he was held for court and remanded into custody.  ST23001453.

On the 27th day of January 2023 St. Thomas Police were called to a Smith Avenue address for an unwanted person.  Police spoke with a 30 year old St. Thomas woman.  It was discovered the woman had an outstanding arrest warrant with our service.  The female was taken into custody and held for a court appearance.  ST23001474.

On the 27th day of January 2023 an alert officer located a 50 year old St. Thomas man who was wanted by our service.  The male was taken into custody without incident.  Further investigation revealed the male was also wanted by the London Police Service and Strathroy Police Service.  The male was processed and released into the custody of the London Police Service.  ST23001482.
