On the 6th day of December 2024 St. Thomas Police Service attended a south end medical facility for an unwanted person. Upon police arrival it was determined a 41-year-old St. Thomas man had pulled the fire alarm unnecessarily. Police arrested the male for false use of the fire alarm and released him on a future court date. ST24022104.
On the 6th day of December 2024 police attended a Talbot Street retail store for a theft. The store reported a theft of shoes by an unknown female. Police reviewed video surveillance and have identified a 40-year-old St. Thomas woman as the person responsible. A warrant is being sought for the arrest of this individual. ST24022114.
Later the same day at approximately 11 PM officers attended the area of Highview Drive and Paddon Street for a disturbance. Police investigation revealed this to be a family dispute between a father and daughter. It was determined during the interaction with both parties that they had been consuming alcohol.. Witnesses confirmed that the father a 49-year-old St. Thomas man had driven to the area. The male was arrested for impaired driving. The male provided breath samples that were almost twice the legal limit. The male was processed and released on a future court date. ST24022145.
